Euphrates Series

Information

Inspired by the intriguing sounds of the river valleys and arid hills of Eastern Turkey. The Euphrates series features an unlathed and patinated bow, lathed and polished edges, and an un-hammered bell for a strong fundamental tone. The cymbals open and close quickly, with a dry timbre and strong stick definition.
The rhythm of nature.

These work well in combination with the Galata crashes. A little heavier than Galata, they offer a sightly brighter, more shimmering timbre, & longer sustain of the fundamental tone. They cut through amplified music beautifully, but without being harsh.
